Longform PDF Check is free, open-source software provided under the MIT License. You may use, copy, modify, and distribute it under that license.

No substitute for final review

The tool reports machine-detectable PDF risks using conservative heuristics. A clean result does not guarantee visual, editorial, legal, or accessibility correctness. Review high-stakes documents before distribution.

No warranty

The software and hosted documentation are provided “as is,” without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the authors are not liable for claims or damages arising from its use.

Acceptable use

Do not use the hosted site to interfere with its operation or others’ access. Document analysis belongs on your own machine through the CLI.
